About

Our Mission
Providing help and hope for Susquehanna County
Susquehanna County Interfaith opened its thrift store doors in 1990 with the goal of providing hope and care for those in need. However, Susquehanna County Interfaith is so much more than a thrift store. The Christmas Bureau program also began in 1990, providing 50 food and toy baskets in its first year. In 1991, the Back to School Shoe Program began when 25 children received new shoes. Numerous times over the years, Susquehanna County Interfaith has expanded, moved, and continued to find new avenues of helping those in need. On the wings of a caring community and the countless hours of service by volunteers and employees, help for our community continues to soar. Working together, we are making a difference.

Our Vision
Every individual or family will be connected with needed support, will have access to emergency assistance, will be offered faith and hope, will have access to resources for personal development/life change, will be treated with dignity and compassion, will have a voice of advocacy, and will be provided with educational pathways for personal development and long-term independence.

Our Values
Compassion, dignity, education, excellence, and stewardship
